Report: Child killed, 3 injured in 55 Saudi airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours
SANAA, Apr.1 (YPA) – A child was killed and three civilians, including a child, were seriously injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 55 air strikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen provinces on Saturday, according to medics and military reported combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
- In Saada province:
A child was killed and another injured in an airstrike on Habil area of Dhaher district.
A civilian was injured in two air strikes on Maran area of Haidan district.
Two airstrikes hit a main road in Baqem district.
Meanwhile, a civilian was seriously injured when artillery and missile force of Saudi army shelled several areas of Razeh district.
Properties of citizen were damaged when several areas of Munabeh district were shelled by artillery and missiles.
- In Saudi border province of Najran:
Nine air strikes were waged on several areas.
- In Hajjah province:
14 air strikes, six of them with cluster bombs, were launched on Jar farms of Abs district.
The warplanes, reconnaissance and Apache launched 18 strikes on Haradh district.
- In Hodeidah province:
An air strike was waged on Jarahi district.
Three air strikes on Hais city.
- In Lahj province:
Five Saudi-led airstrikes hit Hamalah area of Karsh district.
