Coalition’s battleships, militias bomb neighborhoods of Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Feb. 12 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition’s battleships and militias on Tuesday waged an intensive and hysterical bombardment on civilians’ homes and properties in several districts of Hodeidah province, in a continual violation of Sweden agreement.

“The coalition’s battleships fired four rockets at one of mountainous areas, while a tank of militias loyal to the coalition shelled al-Shajan village in al-Durihemi district,” security sources said.

The militias open fire intensively from their machine guns on several areas of al-Durihemi district and on citizens’ houses and farms in al-Shajan village in the same district, and targeted Al-Qimma Hotel in July 7 area, the sources added.

According to the sources, the militias attacked residential and commercial neighborhood in Sanaa Street in Hodeidah city with artillery and heavy and medium machine guns, in conjunction with intensive flight of the coalition spy aircrafts on the area.

The militias also launched an attack with heavy and lights weapons on al-Zafaran village in Kilo 16 area, in addition to artillery shelling at Hodeidah Airport.

The sources indicated that the coalition militias established new fortifications west of al-Sharaf village in Kilo 16 area.

On Monday, the coalition militia launched an intensive attack with tanks, artillery and various weapons on a number of areas and villages in Hodeidah, causing damage to citizens’ homes and property.
