Army downs fourth spy aircraft of coalition within 3 days

SANAA, Feb. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army announced on Saturday downing of a fourth spying plane belonging to Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province within three days, hours after shooting down a plane in Jizan region.

A military source told Yemen Press Agency that the Yemeni air defenses managed on Saturday evening to shoot down a coalition reconnaissance aircraft in al-Mazraq area of Hajjah province in less than five hours from the downing of a similar plane east of Jahfan Mountain in Jizan.

On Friday, the Yemeni army’s air defenses shot down a spying plane belonging to the coalition forces in al-Sowah area adjacent to Najran region, and another espionage aircraft on Thursday in Jarah valley in Jizan.
