FM, WFP discuss cooperation to meet humanitarian needs in Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Sunday discussed with Director of Emergency and Relief at the World Food Program (WFP) Omar Al-Daoudi, aspects of cooperation with the program to address the growing humanitarian needs in Yemen.

Sharaf confirmed the keenness of the political leadership in Sanaa to end the suffering of Yemenis due to Saudi-led coalition’s war throughout the country.

He also said that all facilitates would be provided to ensure the success of the humanitarian organizations work in delivering possible services and aid to Yemeni citizens.

For his part, Al-Daoudi referred to a number of challenges that should be overcome in order to ensure the success of the program’s efforts, as well as the importance of taking into account all considerations aimed at delivering aid to the targeted groups.
