Yemeni army repels coalition’s large-scale attack in Najran

NAJRAN, Dec. 6 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday repelled a large-scale attack carried by militants loyal to  Saudi army in Najrna border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Sawh district, left dozens of the Saudi soldiers and militants dead and wounded, the official said.

The official indicated that the army forces destroyed three military vehicles in the attack, killing all their crew members.

The official confirmed that the foiled attack lasted for eight hours, with the participation of warplanes and Apache, but without making any progress on the ground.
