Army thwarts coalition militias’ infiltration in Asir

ASIR, Dec. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces stationed in the border front of Asir on Tuesday repelled an attempt by militias loyal to Saudi-led coalition to infiltrate toward the crossing border of Alib, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The repelling operation resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the militias, as well as destroying a military vehicle belonging to them, according to the official.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni forces in Najran region thwarted an attack by the coalition militias backed by Saudi warplanes on al-Khadra crossing, inflecting human losses on the militias.

These operations take place across the border fronts, while the coalition is escalating its hostilities on the different fronts, in conjunction with the approaching date of negotiations in Sweden.
