Taliban’s attack leaves 22 security forces dead in western Afghanistan

SANAA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – At least 22 of Afghan security forces were killed on Monday in a new attack carried out by Taliban militants, the Afghan “Bagfak” News Agency reported.

Taliban militants carried out an armed attack on a convoy of Afghan security forces in Farah Province in western Afghanistan, killing more than 22 policemen and wounding five others, the “Bagfak” News Agency quoted security officials as saying.

The attack came when the Afghan security unit handed over power to a new command in the region.
