Houthi calls for tax-exemption for all Yemeni expatriates returning to their homeland

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi on Sunday called on the National Salvation Government to exempt all the Yemeni expatriates from taxation and customs.

“ Brothers in the Salvation Government, we wish that you issue an order on tax-exemption for every Yemeni who is returning home especially those who are included in the unjust decision to implement the decision to localize 4 activities,” Mohammad Ali al-Houthi  said on his twitter account.

He Houthi added that “expatriates have two options whether to pay the fine and threatened to confiscate or to  hand over money to any worker which most of the people have no desire to do so, which will lead to loss their money.”
