Sudanese ruling party to activate law aiming to al-Bashir reelection forcibly

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Sudanese ruling National Congress Party intends to activating the law of accountability according to the statute of party to face the large number of party’s leaderships refusing to reelect Sudan president Umar al-Bashir in a third mandate, Sudanese media stated.

A source affirmed to Almadria Channel that a large number of the party’s leaders refuse the reelection of Bashir, accusing the supporters for this oreintation as “serving their own interest.”

“According to the bill of this law, an accountability councils will be formed and investigations will be starting with them until the issuing of dismissal decisions against them or suspending their membership,” he added.
