Amnesty calls for strengthening UN team of experts in Yemen after Dahyan’s crime

SANAA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Amnesty International confirmed on Thursday that “the need to strengthen the team of experts and international investigators in Yemen has become more severe after the killing of (40) children in Saada,”

In a statement, the  Amnesty said  that “the Saudi-UAE coalition launched an unprecedented number of indiscriminate air strikes on civilians which targeted homes, schools, hospitals, markets and mosques in attacks may be classified as war crimes.”

“The Saudi-led coalition hindered the arrival of life-saving goods in Yemen and restricted thousands movement of civilians who need of treatment,” the statement said.

The Amnesty added that “the UAE forces are responsible for cases of torture and enforced disappearance in their areas of control,” read the statement.
