Over 30 coalition militiamen taken prisoner in Hodeidah

HODEIDHA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday captured more than 30 militiamen loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Hodeidah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militiamen were taken prisoner after the army forces carried out a wide-scale military operation in the western coast front and liberated al-Duraihmi district completely, according to the official.

He confirmed that “al-Duraihmi district is now in hands of the Yemeni army forces and is free of any presence of the coalition militants.”
