Yemen army repels infiltration in Jizan

JIZAN, July 5 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday repelled an infiltration attempt of the Saudi-backed militias in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official added that the militias tried to infiltrate towards Jabal Duwd in Jizan, but were foiled by the army, killing and injuring dozens of them.

The official indicated that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes to back its militias during their failed attempt to make progress on the ground.
