Hadramout contractors call for confiscation of Mohsen’s oil companies

HADRAMOUT, July 5 (YPA) – Hadramout contractors called on local authorities to confiscate the assets of an influential company in the oil fields belonging to the military general of Islah party, Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar because he have not paid their dues in years, a local source told Yemen press Agency on Thursday.

A number of contractors demanded from the governor of Hadeamout, appointed by exile President Hadi, to pressure on the Deputy of Al-Ahmar, who is in the oil sectors of Hashdi Trading & Contracting Co. in Hadramout, to pay their financial rights that delayed for years.

They also called for the implementation of a peaceful sit-in in order to get their constitutional rights and to file a lawsuit against the company, which is protected by those who have influence in the country and in accordance with Yemeni law, which allows for the confiscation of property of the company in case the company does not pay the financial obligations according to the contracts signed with them.

Hashdi Trading and Contracting Co. is one of the most powerful companies and exclusive agents for contracting in the oil sectors belonging to the military general of Islah Party Ali Mohsen Al Ahmar in Hadramout province.
