Yemen Foreign Minister meets WFP official

SANAA, July 3 (YPA) – Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, on Tuesday met with Deputy Resident Representative of the World Food Program to Yemen, Ali Reda.

In the meeting the officials discussed the humanitarian efforts and activities of the program towards the displaced in Hodeidah province, especially in light of the escalating of coalition forces in Western Coast.

Sharaf stressed on the need to stimulate all international organizations and the World Food Program to raise the level of its activities, especially in the province of Hodeidah as a priority at the current stage.

Sharaf confirmed that the National Salvation Government is committed to provide all necessary services to facilitate the work of international organizations to serve all citizens, especially in Hodeidah.

In his part, Reda reviewed the efforts and assistance provided to citizens in Hodeidah in preparation To enter the targeted IDPs in regular aid programs.

Reda referred to the oil assistance to provide services related to the water supply stations of the province as well as the continued work of hospitals.
