Kuwait deports Yemenis and Syrians from its territory

SANAA, June 24 (YPA)- Kuwait  Interior Ministry started deporting Yemenis and Syrians nationalities from its territory, Al-Rai Kuwait-based Newspaper reported.

The move came to implement the recommendations of the Committee to conduct a comprehensive study of the cases of persons awaiting deportation or detainees in the Department of deportation.

In its report, the ministry called for the implementation of the administrative deportation of any Yemeni or Syrian resident to his country immediately, after excluding the two nationalities in the past period because of the hard circumstances in which their countries are going through.

At least 85 Syrian residents were arrested ready to implement the administrative deportation order on them for the sake of public interest, according to Al-Rai Newspaper.

If the breaches were extended for one month, the resident would be removed from detention on bail by a Kuwaiti citizen in order to modify his status in accordance with the residence law , or to search for another sponsor, while the  residents who arrived at Talha prison are currently being deported to their countries after they cannot obtain your sponsor.

It also indicated that all those who have not been extended their stay, especially the Syrians and Yemenis, will be immediately deported to their countries, especially since there are currently flights directly to Syria.
