Islah gunmen burn down house in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 02 (YPA) – An armed gang affiliated with the Islah party burned down a house in downtown Taiz province, southwest Yemen, local sources said.

According to identical sources, the gunmen burned down the house of Dr. Amin al-Hasani, in al-Hadi neighborhood in al-Majlia area in the center of Taiz city.

The sources added that the perpetrators set fire to the house late at night, while all the family members inside the house.

The same sources added that residents rushed to put out the fire and rescue all the family members. The fire caused significant material losses.

This comes at a time when Taiz is witnessing an unprecedented insecurity, the spread of armed gangs belonging to the Islah party and the absence of the rule of law.
