Yemeni riyal drops to hit record low in southern provinces

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Monday hit a new record low against the foreign currencies in the southern provinces, where the one dollar price exceeded the barrier of 1,203 riyals in Aden and Hadramout provinces.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange rate maintained its stability in the capital, Sanaa, at about 601 riyals to the dollar.

As for the average dollar exchange rate on the black market in Sanaa, it reached 605 riyals.
