Hadi forces send reinforcements from Abyan to Shabwah

ABYAN, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Hadi’s forces on Tuesday sent large reinforcements from Abyan province to the southern Yemeni province of Shabwah, after its brigades collapsed there in front of Sanaa forces, which took control of large areas.

The sources said that the majority of Hadi’s forces stationed in the city of Shuqra in Khanfir district of Abyan, withdrew to the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwah province in a move aimed at preventing its fall by Sana’a forces, which continue their rapid advance towards the city after taking control of more than three directorates.

Regarding the movements of forces of the UAE-backed  Southern Transitional Council  STC)’s militias in the city of Zinjibar, the center of Abyan, after monitoring the withdrawal of the majority of the forces of “Hadi” from the city of Shuqra, the STC  suspended the vacations and summoned other its militias, and wanted  to take the advantage  to take  control all areas of Abyan in response to the overthrow of Hadi’s forces in the city of Lawdar last July.
