German police arrest man took 3 hostages

SANAA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – German police announced Tuesday evening that they had arrested a man armed with a knife who was holding three hostages on a passenger bus in southern Germany.

German media reported that a man detained three people and threatened them with a knife on a tourist bus travelling from abroad following a dispute, adding that the rest of the people were able to get out.

The incident took place in the highway near the Bavarian town of Greding. Police closed the area following the incident and special forces were sent to the scene.
