Pro-coalition military officer killed in Taiz

TAIZ, April 03 (YPA) – The media officer of the so-called “Zaraniq Brigade” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Mahmoud Habira, died Friday succumbing to his wounds as a result of an assassination attempt in the coastal city of Mocha, west of Taiz province.

Habira was injured seriously when gunmen affiliated with the so-called “Tariq Afash” forces backed by the UAE fired dozens of bullets on him in central Mocha city last week. He was then taken to the MSF hospital before he died.

It is worth noting that the areas under the control of the coalition factions in Taiz witness frequent assassinations and liquidations among the leaders of the military formations involved with the coalition.
