Abha airport stops landing aircrafts : Aviation analyst

SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – “Flight operations at Saudi Regional Airport Abha were stopped, after the Yemeni Air Force announced an attack on the airport by an drone,”Alex Macheras, an aviation analyst said.

Macheras wrote on his tweeter page, monitored by the Yemeni Press Agency.
“Airplanes are not allowed to land at Abha regional airport in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

Earlier the day, the Yemeni army’s air force launched a high-quality air operation on Abha International Airport in the southern province of Asir, a military official in the air forces told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that drone aircraft waged three airstrikes on Abha international airport, confirming that the airstrikes hit their targets accurately.

The air force source said that all flights suspended to Abha international airport after it was hit by three drone airstrikes.
