120 Saudi-backed militants dead, hundreds wounded in west coast battles

SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – At least 120 of Saudi-backed militias were killed and hundreds wounded when the Yemeni army repelled a wide-scale infiltration of the militias backed by an air and sea cover in the west coast front, a source at the Ministry of Defense told Yemen Press Agency.

The two-days infiltration ended with the escape of the militia fighters, who suffered heavy losses in life and equipment, the source said.

He added that the army forces destroyed more than five various military vehicles and seized military equipment left by the militias.
