Coalition pulls heavy military equipment from Marib

MARIB, Nov. 19 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Wednesday withdrew all their military equipment and soldiers from Marib.

According to local sources in Marb province, Saudi forces withdrew all their military equipment from Sahn al-Jin camp towards the oil fields in Safer district.

Local sources confirmed that trucks were seen transporting heavy weapons towards the Safer through al-Abar road.

The sources said the coalition’s withdrawal of heavy military equipment was an indication of the fall of the city to the Yemeni army forces and popular committees.

Two months ago, Saudi Arabia pulled patriot batteries and cannons from all its camps in Marib.

Meanwhile, coalition fighters continued to launch raids on a number of directorates in heavy fighting, in an attempt to halt the army’ advance.
