Islah militants take over strategic area in Lahj

LAHJ, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed Islah militants on Thursday attacked the STC militia in Lahj province, south of Yemen, taking over Tur Al-Baha strategic area in the province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia withdraw from all the sites in the area where it was stationed.

On Tuesday, the STC pushed military reinforcements to Tur Al Baha district in Lahj province a day after mobilization and military tension with the Islah militants.
