Aden witnesses armed clashes between tribesmen, STC militias

ADEN, Sep. 22 (YPA) – Fierce armed clashes erupted Tuesday evening in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias and gunmen from Sabiha tribes.

The clashes took placed after the STC militia stormed an investment project belonging to the businessman Essam Hazaa al-Subihi and stopped the work in the project located in Ja’owala area in Dar Saad district, a local source said.

He indicated that dozens of armed men from Sabiha tribes flocked to the investment project site, which led to clashes between the two sides.
