Leader in Muatamar party escapes assassination attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 20 (YPA) – A leader in al-Muatamar party loyal to UAE escaped on Sunday an assassination attempt in Taiz province, medially sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that five gunmen were riding five motorcycles shot at the car of sheikh Said al-Harbi in Sinah area.

The attack resulted in the death of one of the sheikh’s guards, while another one was wounded.
