President Al-Mashat stresses importance of all institutions assuming responsibilities to combat corruption

SANAA, Sep. 1 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stressed on Tuesday the importance of all state institutions assuming their responsibilities to combat corruption.

Al-Mashat said, during his speech in front of the regulatory agencies, that everyone is concerned, starting with the first official and ending with the Anti-Corruption Authority, adding that indicating that the role of fighting corruption is not limited to a specific party.

The President indicated that there is no problem in adopting the merging of institutions and changing some of the laws that hinder the fight against corruption.

“I have a set of objections that submitted to the Anti-Corruption Authority regarding the procedures related to the financial disclosure due to the presence of some gaps,” he added.
