Israeli occupation warplanes bomb southern Gaza Strip

SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Israeli occupation planes bombed at dawn Tuesday several airstrikes on agricultural lands, east of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli warplanes launched several rockets on agricultural lands in the vicinity of the destroyed Gaza International Airport east of Rafah.

They added that the shelling caused panic in the area, but no injuries were reported.

In a statement, the Israeli spokesman claimed that Israeli aircraft had targeted Hamas-affiliated capabilities in the Gaza Strip in response to the firing of incendiary and explosive balloons at Gaza’s cover settlements.

In recent days, the occupying forces have launched a series of raids on various targets in the Gaza Strip, claiming to respond to the firing of incendiary balloons.
