12 leaders in Al-Qaeda elements killed in Bayda

BAYDA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – Dozens of leaders in al-Qaeda elements were killed on Thursday when the Yemeni army took over areas in Yakla area of Qaifa district in Bayda province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that over 12 leaders in al-Qaeda organization from various nationalities were killed in battles that Yakla front witnessed.

The Yemeni army and popular committees were able to take over all areas of Yakla front in Qaifa district.
