BAYDA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army killed on Wednesday a number of al-Qaeda elements, including foreign leaders, in an attack in Bayda province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The official affirmed that the army took control of military strategic sites in Qiva area of the same province after fierce battles with al-Qaeda elements backed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition airstrikes.
In the same context, local sources in Marib governorate confirmed that the coalition forces sent large military reinforcements to back the forces of the so-called National Army to support al-Qaeda elements Yakla area of Qiva front under pressure from the Saudi military ruler in the Marib governorate.
