STC expects attack for Hadi fores in Abyan

ABYAN, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s  military spokesman in Abyan province , Mohammed al-Naqeeb has on Wednesday said that he expects Hadi’s forces to launch a large-scale attack in southern Yemen.

This coincides with continued clashes between the two sides along the battle fronts.

 Al-Naqeeb said that the escalatory practices of what he described as ” Muslims Brotherhood militias” reached their peak in the past two days, pointing out that they launched intensive shelling in the past hours on transitional positions in various sectors and that the shelling continues.

He confirmed said that the major reinforcements of Hadi’s forces have arrived in Shuqrah and al-Araqoub and that they are preparing for an expected attack in the coming hours.
