Uneven rainfall expected on Yemen provinces within 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected uneven rainfall, in a number of Yemeni governorates within the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed its weather forecast on Tuesday that the rains, accompanied by winds and thunderstorms would targeted the western mountain range from Saada in the north to Taiz and Lahj in the south.

It pointed out that the rains might be more intense in the provinces of Hajjah, al-Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Ibb and Taiz, and separate parts of the interior plateaus and deserts in Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra governorates.

The Center warned citizens in areas where rain might be expected to avoid being in the water gatherings and valleys, calling to take the necessary precautions against rock landslides and a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to low clouds and fog, especially on mountain roads.
