Attorney General reviews investigations into coalition crime in Hajjah

HAJJAH, July 10 (YPA) – The Attorney General Judge Nabil Nasser al-Azzani on Thursday reviewed the first phase of investigations into Saudi-led coalition’s crimes in Hajjah province.

During his meeting with Governor of Hajjah Hilal al-Sufi and Chief of the Appeals Prosecution in the province Judge Amin al-Qarni, the Attorney General discussed the resumption of acts of counting and documenting the coalition crimes that had not been previously investigated in the province.

Judge al-Azzani indicated that the second stage of investigations should include all crimes within the Hajjah province, stressing the need for coordination between the prosecution, security services and the local authority in this regard.

The governor of Hajjah affirmed the readiness of the province’s local authority and the concerned agencies to implement the judicial directives required to resume and complete investigations so as to ensure that war criminals in Yemen are tried.
