Industry Ministry plans to produce medical clothing to counter Coronavirus

SANAA, May 6 (YPA) – Minister of Industry Abdel Wahab al-Durra discussed in an extended meeting on Wednesday a mechanisms of coordination with factories to produce medical clothes and oxygen cylinders, as part of the government’s efforts to confront the Coronavirus.

In the meeting, the minister reviewed the Ministry’s efforts to ensure the ongoing production process in various factories and laboratories to enhance food and remedy security for confronting the virus.

Al-Durrah called on citizens to adhere to the directives and instructions issued by the Higher Epidemic Committee and the health ministry to carry out the precautionary measures in order to ensure the safety of the community.

The Minister pointed out that the Ministry prepared a comprehensive emergency plan to follow up and implement the precautionary measures to confront the epidemic in various provinces.
