8 injured after plane makes emergency landing in Russia’s Magadan

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) –  An A-2 private plane made an emergency landing in Russia’s Magadan on Thursday, injuring eight people on board, a Russian emergencies ministry spokesperson said.

According to the spokesman, the plane was carrying 14 people and made a  severe emergency landing in the Russian city of Magadan

He added that the plane landed after take-off, confirming that the two-person crew left safely.

There is no threat to the lives of the injured, he said. They’re in good health.

According to a statement issued by the Russian Emergency Ministry, the number of injured has risen to eight passengers, all of whom were taken to hospital for medical care.

“The authorities have already begun to investigate the incident,” the statement said.
