10 people killed in armed attack in southern Nigeria

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Ten people were killed and others injured, in an armed attack in the southern state of Delta.

Nigerian media indicated on Monday that the attackers were wearing military uniforms.

On the other hand, the Delta State media office said that the local authorities have sent military reinforcements to the area that witnessed the armed attack.

Nigeria suffers from a security deterioration as a result of armed attacks carried out from time to time by the armed “Boko Haram” organization, and conflicts between herders and farmers, and another between networks of arms dealers.
