Yemeni artillery pounds Saudi-led mercenaries in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Jan. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed the popular committees on Thursday attacked gatherings and concentration of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition forces in Hajjah province, north of Yemen, a military official said.

According to the official, the artillery forces pounded the Saudi-led mercenaries’ gatherings and military sites in the western part of Hiran district, using a number of shells.

The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and others wounded in the attack.

On Tuesday, the army waged missile and artillery bombardment on Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in the same province.

The bombardment left a number of dead and wounded in ranks of the coalition mercenaries in the south and west of Haradh front, while the rest of them fled, the source added.
