Saudi Arabia pushes large military reinforcements to train terrorist elements in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition has pushed major military reinforcements for the Al-Amajd Brigade in the southern province of Abyan, military sources reported on Saturday.

According to the military sources, the military reinforcement accused of containing hundreds of terrorist elements, in addition to attracting hundreds of sons of Abyan and Shabwah and joining them alongside al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist elements from Marib and Bayda provinces.

Military sources said military reinforcements included medium and heavy weapons and military pickups, as well as an ambulance provided by Saudi Arabia to support the Al-Majid Brigade, led by  the salafist extremist Saleh al-Shajeri.

It is the second batch of reinforcements to reach the brigade in the months since it was establishment.

Sources indicate that the third batch is on its way to the brigade from Aden and is scheduled to arrive in the coming hours.
