Negotiating delegation member reveals negotiations between Sanaa, Riyadh

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Member of the national negotiating delegation Jamal Amer on Saturday evening revealed military negotiations being held between Sanaa and Riyadh via a video link.

“Military officials from Riyadh have been negotiating with their counterparts in Sanaa through a video link since the beginning of October,” Amer wrote on his Facebook page.

Priorities of Saudis’ demands were concentrated by insisting not to declare and publish the recent victories achieved by the Yemeni army and popular committees in “Nasr Min Allah” operation in Najran, Amer explained.

He affirmed that the Yemeni side did not respond to the request, “despite that request was reiterated by a phone call from the second highest military figure in the Saudi Ministry of Defense.”

Amer, editor-in-chief of the weekly Al-Wasat in Yemen, said that “based on the above – from the Saudi request and the Yemeni rejection – we can realize the variable that cannot be obscured,” referring to the position of the strength from which Yemen is starting to deal with the coalition countries.

He added that Ansaruallah “depends on the path of negotiation in parallel with seeking to hit the Saudi strategy by escalating the confrontations on the border areas in Saada province as it happened on Kutaf front.”
