Several UAE-backed militias injured in roadside explosion in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug. 11 (YPAS) – Several militias belonging to the Southern transition council were severely injured in a roadside explosion in southern province of Lahj, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

According to the sources, ” an improvised explosive device exploded near a security checking point belonging to the so-called Security Belt forces on the outskirts of the occupied city of al-Hoota, leaving several of them wounded.

The occupied province of Lahj has been witnessing sporadic clashes between militants belonging to Islah party, which is accused of terrorism, and UAE-backed security belt militants.
