Colonel killed in Taiz

TAIZ, July 16 (YPA) – A Colonel in Immigration and Passports Department in Taiz province was shot dead on Tuesday by a military police officer, a according to sources.

The sources said that the colonel Nasr Muharram, director of personnel at the Saudi-led coalition’s passports department, was killed after verbal exchanges with police officer in the city of Taiz.

Taiz has seen a state of security disorder and conflict among armed groups loyal to Saudi Arabia and other militias funded by UAE in an attempt of the two sides to control over the province.
