Parliament reviews report of Development, Oil Committee

SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Tuesday continued to hold its sessions under the chairmanship of the Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Ra’i.

The Parliament reviewed the report of the Committee on Development, Oil and Mineral Resources on its follow-up to the level of implementation of the recommendations of the Parliament on the domestic gas, the maintenance of oil berth No. 2 in the port of Hodeidah, and the oil derivatives ships held by Saudi-led aggression coalition.

The report dealt with the actions taken by the Committee to carry out its tasks, and the observations and conclusions it reached.

The Committee proposed a number of recommendations that would oblige the government to address the imbalances contained in the report.

Accordingly, the Parliament postponed the discussion of the report to a future meeting in the presence of the competent government side.
