Chief of Military Intelligence meets Head of ICRC delegation in Sanaa

SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – Chief of Military Intelligence Service Major General Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim on Thursday met with Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Yemen, Franz Rauchenstein.

They dealt with the humanitarian situations witnessed by the country in light of the continued aggression and blockade, and the repercussions of that on all aspects of life, especially the humanitarian and health aspects.

The meeting reviewed the humanitarian role that ICRC can play in delivering assistance to those affected and displaced by the aggression.

In the meeting, al-Hakim confirmed the concerned authorities’ readiness to provide all facilities to the ICRC mission so that it can perform its humanitarian role to the fullest.
