Prisoners’ Committee condemns killing of prisoner al-Ghathi in Shabwa

SANAA, June 20 (YPA) –The National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs on Thursday condemned the crime of killing the prisoner Mohsen Mohsen Ali al-Ghathi by Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in a prison in Shabwa province.

The Committee said, in a statement, the liquidation of the prisoner al-Ghathi was committed in a prison belonging to the mercenary leader loyal to the coalition Saleh Abdurbo al-Mansouri and then his body was thrown in a road before being transferred to Ataq.

The statement held the Saudi and Emirati regimes and the mercenary leaders headed by Mufarreh Bahibah and Saleh al-Mansouri in Shabwa responsible for this crime.

In its statement, the Committee called on the United Nations to take responsibility for what is happening against the prisoners and to pressure on the coalition forces to implement the prisoner exchange agreement signed by both parties under its auspices.
