Zionist Israeli enemy destroys Palestinian village
SANAA, May 30 (YPA) – Bulldozers of the Zionist Israeli enemy demolished on Thursday the Palestinian village of Al-Araqeeb in the Negev, south of occupied Palestine, for the 145th time.
According to Palestine Now agency, local sources said the enemy police and special forces raided the village in the morning, protecting bulldozers that demolished the houses of the villagers.
Before the demolition of the village, a number of elements of the Yoav unit of the so-called Negev Development Authority (UPDF) stormed the village and provoked the residents in an attempt to intimidate them and impose a state of fear on Tuesday.
Al-Araqeeb is one of about 42 Palestinian villages in the Naqab.
The Zionist enemy seeks to displace its inhabitants and build a new settlement.
