Health Ministry mourns death of 4 patients trapped in Durayhimi

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population in the National Salvation Government on Thursday announced the death of four citizens, including three  women, in Durayhimi city of Hodeidah province.

The four patients died because of the interruption of their medicines and their inability to obtain it or exit from the city or to the nearest health center due to the siege imposed on the city by Saudi-led coalition for nine months, the ministry said in a statement.

The statement condemned the continued siege of the coalition forces and mercenaries on the city, which it considered a crime that is no less brutal than the direct killing by the coalition warplanes.

The ministry held the Saudi and Emirati regimes and all countries supporting them responsible for this crime, demanding the free world countries’ peoples to take a humanitarian position to preserve the lives of those who remain alive in this besieged city.
