Speaker of Parliament meets new MPs

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Speaker of the Parliament Yahya Ali al-Ra’i on Wednesday met with members of the parliament winning in the supplementary elections to fill the vacant seats.

At the meeting, al-Ra’i welcomed the new members and congratulated them on gaining the trust of voters in their constituencies to take responsibility in confronting the aggression and adopting the people’s demands in accordance with the Constitution and laws in force.

He said that the winning members represent a qualitative addition to the Parliament along with the other members who have remained steadfast over four years against temptations of the aggression coalition countries, topped by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The parliament speaker wished the new members all success in their duties in the legislative and regulatory areas.
