50 local, int’l orgs to oversee complementary parliamentary elections: SCER

SANAA, April 4 (YPA) – Head of Legal Affairs Sector in the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) Judge Ali al-Samit on Thursday said 50 local and international organizations would participate in oversight of the complementary parliamentary elections to be held on April 13.

“The electoral process will be conducted in full transparency and will be covered by international media, Judge al-Samit added in a statement to Yemen Press Agency.

On Wednesday, the SECR called on sub-committees in charge of managing the ballot and counting to head for headquarters of the supervisory and original committees in the provinces to get trained and then move to the polling centers to receive voters on the ballot date, April 13.
