Saudi forces fail to retake sites in Najran

NAJRAN, March 30 (YPA) – Saudi forces on Saturday failed to retake military sites in Rushaha area in Najran region, which the Yemeni army forces and popular committees seized earlier in Thursday.

A military source confirmed that several Saudi-backed militants were killed and others wounded when the Yemeni army repelled their infiltration toward Rushaha in a bid to regain the positions seized by the army forces earlier in an offensive.

The army forces and popular committees managed to repel another infiltration attempt by Saudi-led coalition forces toward al-Shurfa and al-Shabaka sites, causing heavy human and material losses to them, the official added.

Earlier in the day, the army’s missile force targeted a group of the coalition troops at Akef a camp in al-Hammad area, which left casualties and material damage.
