HODEIDAH, March 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) branch in Hodeidah province on Friday warned of consequences of the continued targeting of oil facilities by militias loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
The company’s branch called, in a statement, on the United Nations to play its role in protecting civilians and the civil installations linked to the work and lives of people.
The statement said that the coalition militias targeted the facilities with machine-guns on Thursday morning for the second time in five days, in complete disregard of the consequent disasters that may resulted from that.
It indicated that the Hodeidah oil facility covers 70 per cent of the necessary needs of citizens and the service sectors in the provinces of the country.
